"Faces and Figures" is a two-person art exhibit at Firefly in Seeley, WI. My friend, artist Judy Newberry, and I wanted to focus on painting "people" – capturing the gestures and expressions of folks in the activity of daily life. The paintings in this exhibit are the result of our exploration. They include portraits as well as figures and are in a variety of media: oil, watercolor, charcoal and mixed media. The exhibit will be on display from June 26 – August 6, 2016.
